This historical city hotel rises above a majestic castle which was built in 1437 as a residence for the Dukes of Feria, an important Spanish aristocracy. It features a spectacular facade and enjoys an ideal setting for exploring the surrounding monuments and natural landscapes of the region. Nine castellated towers carefully guard a grand, royal interior which is home to attractive coffered ceilings, chests, ironwork, banisters and other decorative details befitting of an ancient palace. Its rooms, where Hern�n Cort�s once slept, are noble, elegant and spacious. Guests will also be impressed by the perfectly tended garden. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a TV lounge. There is a cafe, a bar and a restaurant and guests have conference facilities and WLAN Internet access at their disposal. They can also take advantage of the room and laundry services and there is parking for those arriving by car. It is also possible to hire bicycles on the premises.

The hotel is situated in the centre of the city, close to Santa Maria church and close to Calle Seville. Zafra is between Seville and Merida on the Route of Silver. Guests arriving by car should take the N630 highway, to the kilometre 141 point from Seville, kilometre 60 from Merida or kilometre 73 from Badajoz on the N432 Badajoz-Granada. There are train links from Madrid to the station 5 km from the hotel.
