Although not widely advertised, one of the interesting points of this lodge is its quest for self sufficiency. This includes making their own cheeses, yogurt and curd, growing a wide range of vegetables and raising a variety of livestock. (TO 0908)
In Spanish, 'Ca on' is pronounced 'Canyon', and the name refers to the nearby Fish River Canyon. Ca on? Some large shade trees, a few grill areas, toilets and hot showers provide the camping enthusiasts with all the ingredients for a peaceful night under the magnificent stars.
