In an enviable position in central Dunguan, this hotel is excellent position makes it popular amongst Westerners. Providing comfortable and secure lodging close to the center of town, the Dunhuang Binguan is just down the road from the night markets, within easy walking of the Western style cafe and restaurants of Ming Shan Lu. The Mogao Caves and White Horse Pagoda are 25 kilometers from here. Tours can be organized through the hotel or a taxi hailed from the street. Also within walking distance is the city is new train station, a ticketing agent can be found across the road from the hotel, as can the long distance bus terminal. Visitors after local souvenirs must not pass up the chance to pick up some Dunguan wine or preserved fruits from the vendors in the night markets.
