The SOFITEL is a Tourist hotel. Located in Costa do Sauipe resort Near Salvadore area. Shopping is accessible by bus/taxi and the nightlife/restaurants are easily accessible by taxi or bus from the hotel.

It features 404 well appointed bedrooms including 12 suites, rooms for physically challenged and non smoking rooms all with a wide range of facilities. The hotel provides a large choice of restaurants such as the Mercado do Peixe located between the ocean and the pool area serving seafood and typical Portuguese cuisine, the Terra Brasilis offering International cuisine and the Ile de France that features a la carte French menu. The guests can also relax and enjoy drinks and light meals in the different bars of the resort including the Encotro das Aguas bar at the poolside with a great selection of drinks and appetizers, the lobby bar with light fare and happy hours and the disco bar decorated like an old ship cargo, perfect place to dance. For events and conferences there are 7 meeting rooms that can accommodate 1.200 delegates with business assistance and modern equipment.
