Malia is divided into 2 parts , a relaxed old town with traditional houses and tavernas and the newer area near the beach, which is livelier, with cafes, bars, discos and shops. There is a selection of watersports available on the beach.

The Happy Days Studios are 50 metres from the old town area of Malia where there are a selection of bars, restaurants and shops. A 250 metre walk will take you to the start of the famous Malia beach road where you will KFC, Mcdonalds, Subway bars restaurants, bars shops etc and it is a 20 minute stroll from the beach. Inside and out, the studios are bright, fresh and well maintained by the owners.
