The Lyda Beach Hotel offers a large outdoor fresh water swimming pool, a children's pool, sun terraces with sunbeds and parasols free of charge, a pool side snack bar, a restaurant, night bar, a beach bar, a TV lounge with large wide screen TV, arcade games, billiards, mini market and a reception. The Lyda Beach Hotel organises the occasional entertainment programme, mainly during the summer months and dependent on the weather and participation. The programme including Barbeque, Karaoke and themed Nights. The entertainment programme is dependent on the weather and participation. The sunbeds and parasols on the sandy beach are available at an extra local charge.

The Lyda Beach Hotel is situated directly on the seafront of the Crete resort of Gouves. The hotel has a warm, friendly atmosphere and is an ideal low cost option for couples and families looking for relaxing beach holiday in Greece. There are two sandy beaches directly outside the Lyda Beach Hotel as well as a large swimming pool and a children's pool in the complex itself. Both beaches are ideal for families but the longer beach is more suitable for families with younger children.
