The mountain village in which this hotel is set sits right in the heart of Serra da Estrela. It is harmoniously nestled within the urban setting of Penhas da Sa�de, at an altitude of 1500 m. From Lisbon: Take the A1 motorway in a northerly direction and exit at Torres Novas (A23). Follow the A23 and drive past the city of Castelo Branco. Once passing the city, take the Covilh� South exit. Drive to the centre of town and look for the road to Serra da Estrela (journey time around 2.5 hours).
