The charming hotel is unquestionably one of the most spectacular in the Lake District, surrounded by natural beauty and an idyllic setting to enjoy a luxury hotel experience. The sumptuous interiors are decorated in the old English style creating an air of established comfort, elegant but informal, warm and welcoming. Facilities available to guests at the 30-room country house include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, bar, breakfast/dining room, and room service. Guests arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the on-site car park.

Directions from the M6: leave the M6 motorway at Junction 36 and take the A590 to Kendal. Travel for approximately 7 miles and at the large roundabout turn left and follow signs for the B5284 and Crook. Follow this road for approximately 6 miles to the T-junction. Turn left and then next right into Long Tail Hill to the T-junction. Turn left onto the A592 towards Newby Bridge. Continue for approximately one and a half miles. The hotel is on the right.
