The hotel is nestled right in the heart of the historical University City of Lancaster at the junction of Penny Street and Aldcliffe Road - overlooking the Lancaster canal. Only ten minutes by car from Morecambe and the beautiful Lancashire coast. It's where northern hospitality meets eclectic style.
Set inside a magnificent hundred-year-old building, Penny Street Bridge was originally the Corporation Toll House, but it was demolished in 1901 and rebuilt as two separate pubs - the White Cross Hotel and the Corporation Arms. These two pubs later became known as simply the Farmer's Arms, until Daniel Thwaites Brewery of Blackburn completely transformed it with a 2million GBP refurbishment in 2007.
البهو/الاستقبالThe lobby is small and cosy with limited seating. It is smart and modern.
